BookReady is an automated PDF compliance checking and processing service for indie authors and book formatters. You upload an interior PDF file, we run automated checks against publishing platform specifications, and we return a processed file and report.
BookReady checks your file against known platform requirements but does not guarantee that any processed file will be accepted by IngramSpark, Barnes & Noble Press, KDP Print, Draft2Digital, or any other platform. Platform requirements change without notice. You are responsible for verifying your file meets current platform specifications before uploading.
BookReady is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to IngramSpark, Barnes & Noble Press, Kindle Direct Publishing, Draft2Digital, or any other publishing platform. All platform names are used solely to describe compatibility.
All uploaded files and processed outputs are permanently deleted from our servers within 24 hours of upload, regardless of whether you download them. We do not store, read, or use the content of your manuscripts for any purpose.
All sales are final. BookReady is a digital service — once a scan has been processed and results delivered, no refund will be issued. If you experience a technical error that prevents delivery of your results, contact us and we will process your file again at no charge.
BookReady is provided as-is. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of this service, including but not limited to file corruption, platform rejection, or loss of data. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the service is to stop using it.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of BookReady after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
