What we collect

When you use BookReady we temporarily receive:

The PDF file you upload for processing
Basic request data (IP address, browser type) via standard server logs
Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe, we never see your card details

What we do NOT collect

We do not require account creation or collect your email address
We do not read, store, or analyze the content of your manuscripts
We do not sell or share your data with third parties
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising

File storage and deletion

Uploaded files and processed outputs are stored temporarily on our servers solely to deliver your results. All files are permanently and automatically deleted within 24 hours of upload. We do not retain backups of your files.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card information. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment processing. You can review it at stripe.com/privacy.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Render) maintains standard server logs including IP addresses and request timestamps. These are retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes.

Your rights

Since we don't collect personal accounts or persistent data, there is nothing to request deletion of beyond what is automatically deleted within 24 hours. If you have concerns, contact us.
