Open the formatter and either paste your text or import a Word .docx.
BookReady auto-detects your chapters, lifts a title/byline into the title page, and
cleans your typography — straight quotes become curly, -- becomes an em
dash, triple dots become a proper ellipsis.
Choose a trim size (6×9, 5×8, 5.5×8.5, and more) and enter your page count so the spine width calculates itself. Then pick one of six typeset themes — the fonts, drop caps, and chapter styling change together, and you can preview all six side by side in Compare.
The right-hand panel and Settings give you real typesetting control: body & heading fonts, first-line indents, paragraph spacing, chapter-opener numbering, drop caps, scene-break ornaments, running heads, page numbers, and print margins (inner gutter, outer, bleed). Change one thing and the whole book re-flows live.
Use + Section to add the pages that make a book look finished — title page, copyright, dedication, epigraph, table of contents, acknowledgments, and an author bio. Reorder chapters with the arrows; the folios and running heads keep themselves straight.
